Pekanbaru, June 2026 – Universitas Riau students once again achieved an outstanding accomplishment by winning Third Place in the International Essay Competition category at the PSYCHISFEST International Competition 2026, organized by the Student Association of the Islamic Psychology Study Program, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Da'wah, UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. This achievement reflects the ability of Universitas Riau students to produce innovative scientific work and compete successfully at the international level.
The achievement was earned by a team consisting of:

2. Mutya Syofyanita
3. Windia Ismayuni
The team received the award through their essay entitled "SERO-SPACE: Avocado and Terminalia Catappa-Based Functional Chocolate Innovation Integrated with PWA for Emotional Well-Being Support." The paper presents an innovative concept of functional chocolate made from avocado and Terminalia catappa, integrated with a Progressive Web Application (PWA) to promote emotional well-being through a sustainable and technology-driven approach.
This achievement reflects the spirit of innovation, collaboration, and academic excellence among Universitas Riau students. It is expected to inspire more students to develop impactful ideas, pursue innovation, and continue bringing pride to Universitas Riau at both national and international levels.
