Pekanbaru, June 22, 2026 – Lecturers of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau, participated in a briefing session in preparation for the Site Assessment of the Bachelor of Development Economics Study Program Accreditation, held at the Srikandi Building of FEB Universitas Riau. The activity served as an important step in strengthening the study program’s readiness for the accreditation site assessment process while enhancing understanding of the implementation of quality assurance systems within higher education institutions.
The session featured Prof. Dr. Rahman Karnila, S.Pi., M.Si., Secretary of the Institute for Quality Assurance and Learning Development (LPMPP) of Universitas Riau. In his presentation, he explained the quality assurance framework, ranging from quality assurance documents to the implementation of the PPEPP cycle (Determination, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement) of quality standards at the university, faculty, and study program levels.
The briefing was officially opened by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FEB Universitas Riau, Dr. Deny Setiawan, S.E., M.Ec. The event was also attended by the Head of the Department of Economics, Dr. Yusni Maulida, S.E., M.Si.; the Secretary of the Department of Economics, Mardiana, S.E., M.Si.; the Coordinator of the Bachelor of Development Economics Study Program, Ando Fahda Aulia, S.E., M.E., MBA(IB), Ph.D.; the Head of the Quality Control Group (GPM) of the Bachelor of Development Economics Study Program, Rahmita Budiartiningsih, S.E., M.Hum.; the Head of the Accreditation Team, Dr. Eka Armas Pailis, S.E., M.M.; and the Curriculum Team member, Cut Endang Kurniasih, S.E., M.Si.
Through this activity, the Department of Economics, FEB Universitas Riau, reaffirmed its commitment to continuously improving academic governance and quality assurance practices. The synergy among all stakeholders within the study program is expected to support a smooth site assessment process and contribute to achieving the best possible accreditation outcome for the Bachelor of Development Economics Study Program.
