The Sustainable Economics Teaching Practitioner Program, part of the 2024 Community Service Program (PKKM), once again presents its Teaching Practitioner Series Part 3, integrated into the Agroindustry and International Economics course. This event featured Darlin Simanullang, SDS2 Operations Head of Apical Group Dumai, as a resource person, sharing practical experiences related to the development of the palm oil agro-industry downstream from a sustainability and global trade perspective.
Through the practical presentation of the material, students gained insight into the industry's role in strengthening the competitiveness of palm oil products in the international market while applying sustainable economic principles. The discussion also enhanced their understanding of the interrelationships between agro-industry management, the global supply chain, and international economic dynamics.
This event was held on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM WIB at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Yudisium, UNRI, Panam. It is hoped that this activity will strengthen the synergy between academia and industry. Through this collaboration, students are expected to be better prepared to face global challenges and contribute to driving sustainable economic transformation.
