Pekanbaru, 03 October 2025 – The Undergraduate (S1) Development Economics Study Program, Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau, has once again recorded an outstanding academic achievement. In the Universitas Riau IMT-GT Student and Alumni Internship Batch 2 international program, one student from the Undergraduate Development Economics Study Program was declared to have successfully passed and completed the entire program series. This achievement serves as evidence of the academic quality and international competitiveness of students from the Undergraduate Development Economics Study Program. Participation and success in the IMT-GT program also reflect the study program’s commitment to supporting the development of students’ competencies, both academically and professionally, in order to prepare graduates who are ready to compete in the global workforce.
This program is a collaborative initiative between Universitas Riau and the Indonesia–Malaysia–Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT), aimed at enhancing the capacity, international outlook, and professional experience of students and alumni. Through this program, participants are provided with opportunities to develop academic competencies and practical skills in an international environment, while also expanding cross-border professional networks as valuable preparation for facing global challenges in the future.
The Undergraduate (S1) Development Economics Study Program, Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau, extends its congratulations and appreciation to Chindy Amelia Putri (Economics, Class of 2022) for her successful completion and participation in the Universitas Riau IMT-GT Student and Alumni Internship Batch 2 International Program.
