The Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau, hosted a homecoming ceremony for students of the 2025 Independent MBKM Program who had completed their internship program on June 13th at the Sumatra Environmental Management Center, Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia. This event marked the end of a series of practice-based learning processes that provided students with hands-on experience in understanding environmental governance from a policy and implementation perspective at the regional level.
Through this internship program, students not only gained academic competency strengthening but also gained professional experience relevant to the needs of the workplace. The Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, UNRI, expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the Sumatra Environmental Management Center for their collaboration and mentoring. It hopes that this institutional synergy will continue to support the development of students' capacity and competitiveness in the future.
