The Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau, held a Visiting Lecturer session on Sustainable Economics on Friday, November 29th, in the Workshop Room of the New Building of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau, Panam. The event, which took place from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM WIB, was part of an effort to strengthen the academic capacity of students and faculty in understanding quantitative approaches to sustainable economic analysis.
The event featured Ahmad Akbar Susamto, S.E., M.Phil., Ph.D., a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Gadjah Mada University (FEB UGM), as the speaker. Through presentations and interactive discussions, participants gained in-depth insights into the application of econometrics and statistics in economic research. It is hoped that this event will broaden academic perspectives and encourage improved research quality within the FEB, University of Riau.
