The first series of the Sustainable Economics Practitioner Teaching Program for the Natural Resources and Sustainable Economics course will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM WIB, in the D4 Meeting Room of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau, Panam. This activity is part of an effort to strengthen practice-based learning to enrich students' insight into sustainable development issues.
This activity will feature Tengku Kespandiar, S.T., M.M. as a speaker who will share his professional experience and practical perspectives on natural resource management within a sustainable framework. Through presentations and interactive discussions, students are expected to gain a comprehensive understanding of the integration of economic and environmental aspects in the formulation of development policies and strategies.
By bringing practitioners into the classroom, this program is expected to bridge theory and practice, while simultaneously enhancing students' analytical competence and readiness to face the challenges of sustainable development at the local and global levels. This activity also demonstrates the commitment of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau, to creating applicable, relevant, and competitive learning.
