RRI Pro 1 Pekanbaru, through its Mozaik Indonesia program, held an interactive dialogue titled "Inflation: Enemy or Friend of the Economy?" on Saturday, July 27, 2024. This activity comprehensively discussed the role of inflation in the economy, both as a challenge that needs to be controlled and as an indicator of economic growth dynamics. This discussion provided the public with a deeper understanding of the impact of inflation on purchasing power, price stability, and welfare.
The resource person was Dr. Drs. Hendro Ekwarso, M.Si., a lecturer in the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Riau, who presented his analysis and academic perspective on the phenomenon of inflation in the context of the national and regional economy. Through this dialogue, it is hoped that the public will become wiser in understanding economic issues and be able to respond to inflation developments rationally and informatively.
